It may have been the sprinkle donuts or perhaps it was divine intervention, but regardless, the Tecumseh High School Golf Team qualified to play in the Michigan High School Athletic Association state tournament this weekend after taking third place using the tie-breaker.

The Clinton Softball Team captured its 14th straight district championship during play on Monday, June 3 in Manchester against the home team. They won, 10-2. The Redskins have won the championship 24 of the last 25 years.

The sixth-ranked Clinton Redskins capped off the Tri-County Conference season by capturing first place on Friday, May 24, at the Hills of Lenawee by shooting a team score of 341, besting the second place Whitmore Lake by 31 strokes.

The Tecumseh Baseball Team battled through emotions and won two games against Pinckney on Monday, May 20. They also beat Jackson on Thursday, May 16 and Lumen Christie on Friday, May 17.

The Clinton Track and Field Team traveled to East Jackson to perform at the Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 3, Region 22 championships on Saturday, May 18. The boys’ squad finished third behind Hanover Horton and Hillsdale and the girls finished ninth.

The Tecumseh Golf Team was crowned Lenawee County Champions after competition on Monday, May 13 at the Hills of Lenawee (formerly Lenawee Country Club). All five Indians medaled and Clinton all-stater Austin Fauser took medalist honors with a five-under-par 67.
