The Tecumseh Center for the Arts (TCA) has been awarded a $15,000 Michigan Council for the Arts and Cultural Affairs (MCACA) project support grant for its 2018-2019 Michigan Homegrown Project, one of six Lenawee County organizations to receive funds for the 2019 fiscal year that begins October 1.

TECUMSEH — Tecumseh’s varsity girls golf team competed in Division 3 Regionals at Reddeman Farms in Chelsea on Thursday, Oct. 12, and while the team ended its season with an eighth place finish, Bethany Nowak will advance to the state after carding a 93.

CLINTON — Another state championship was earned by a Clinton High School athlete with Austin Fauser placing first overall in the Michigan High School Athletic Association’s Division 4 golf tournament on Saturday, June 10, at Michigan State University’s Forest Akers East Golf Course.

Never doubting that he could do it — that he would do it, Clinton sophomore Noah Comar won the Division 4 state championship with a 3-1 overtime victory at the Michigan High School Athletic Association’s individual state finals on Saturday, March 4, at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
