Drew Marten has accomplished what no other wrestler in the 150-year history of Tecumseh High School has ever done — won two individual state championships, and consecutively at that.

Never doubting that he could do it — that he would do it, Clinton sophomore Noah Comar won the Division 4 state championship with a 3-1 overtime victory at the Michigan High School Athletic Association’s individual state finals on Saturday, March 4, at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

Tecumseh gymnasts win SCGL title for second time in school history

TECUMSEH — For only the second time in its school history, Tecumseh’s varsity gymnastics team won the South Central Gymnastics League (SCGL) championship on Saturday, Feb. 18. at Parma Western. 
 

Tecumseh bowlers secure conference championships

TECUMSEH — Both of Tecumseh’s varsity bowling teams captured Southeastern Conference (SEC) championships on Wednesday, Feb. 15.  
 
Tecumseh’s varsity boys (14-2) defeated Chelsea 19-11. 
 

Tecumseh wins two state titles

It’s been 11 years since Tecumseh won a Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 2 individual state wrestling championship and just like the last time the Indians had two athletes earn titles.

Karlee Marsh won a Division 3 state championship in the 100-yard freestyle to highlight Tecumseh High School’s fifth place finish in the Michigan High School Athletic Association finals at Eastern Michigan University on Saturday, Nov. 21.
