Richard Norman Westgate, age 82, of Britton, Mich, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025 at Hickman Hospital with his family by his side. He was born on March 15, 1943 in Adrian, Mich. a son of the late Elwood Maynard and Florence Evelyn (Fritz) Westgate.

Barbara Jeanette Cummings (née Schreiner), 91, passed away on November 19, 2025.
Born on December 28, 1933, in Columbus, Ohio, Barbara spent her early years in Illinois, where she raised her four children, before making Tecumseh, Mich., her home for the last 30 years.

George C. Hawkins, age 91, of Manitou Beach, Mich., passed away November 30, 2025 at home in the company of his family. He was born June 4, 1934, in Macon, Michigan the son of Carl and Evelyn (Harden) Hawkins. On October 11, 1952, he married Donna M. Martin with whom he had three children.

Charlotte Ruth Binder, age 88, passed away November 19, 2025, after a long and happy life. “Ruthie” was born in Portland, Oregon in 1937. After graduating from Milwaukie Union High School, Ruth and her sister Alice drove off on an adventure to see the country.

Lee Alan Wagner, 79, of Macon, died early Wednesday morning, November 19, 2025, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family while under the care of Hospice of Lenawee. Born April 8, 1946, in Tecumseh, Lee was the son of the late Lloyd and Stella (Downing) Wagner.

Peter Thomas Murray, 70, passed away unexpectedly on November 13, 2025, in Hot Springs Ark., where he lived for 40 years. Peter was born in Tecumseh, Mich., on September 3, 1955, to Robert Murray and Virginia Murray.
