Dean Ronald “Bear” Pilbeam, age 89 of Tecumseh passed away on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022 at ProMedica Skilled Care and Rehabilitation Center in Ann Arbor. He was born June 16, 1933 in Adrian, a son of the late Ronald J. and Wilma E. (Schoolmaster) Pilbeam.

Evelyn Joyce Pfaffinger, age 94, of Tecumseh, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022 at Springcreek Rehab and Nursing Center. She was born on June 15, 1928 a daughter of the late Guy and Edith (Avery) Harcourt. On November 2, 1946 she married Joseph H.

Richard Feeney Walker III, 68, of Britton, Mich. passed away suddenly on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022, outdoors where he loved to be. Richard was born July 7, 1954 to the late Richard Feeney Walker Jr. and Marquerite Louise (Blackburn) Walker.

Robert Welton LaPlant, age 77, of Tecumseh passed away on Friday, Sept. 9, 2022 at Foundation Park Alzheimer’s Care Center in Toledo. He was born July 25, 1945 in Sikeston, Mo., son of the late Robert Henry and Minnizelle (Morris) LaPlant.

Charles R. Aebersold, age 94, of Brooklyn, Mich. passed away September 10, 2022 peacefully at the Hospice of Lenawee Home. He was born in Tecumseh, Mich. October 4, 1927 to Clarence and Sarah (Boyd) Aebersold.

Jim Lerma of Tecumseh, Mich. lost his courageous battle with colon cancer at his home, on May 23, 2022 with his loving wife Jane and cherished family friend Amber at his side under the direction of Hospice of Lenawee.

Virginia Louise Cook age 96, of Tecumseh passed away August 31, 2022 at the Hospice of Lenawee. Virginia was born October 11, 1925 in Hillsdale, Mich., the daughter of William and Louise (Stahlhood) Waldner. On December 16, 1941 in Hillsdale she married the love of her life, J.D. Cook.

Leslie “Les” Francis Rowe passed away peacefully Sunday, Aug. 28, 2022 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. It is very appropriate he was at St. Joe’s, as he had served there for 46 years in the Interventional Radiology department before retiring on February 25, 2015.
