Janie Lee Engle, age 87 of Tecumseh, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2022 at Hospice of Lenawee Home in Adrian. She was born February 22, 1935 in Hodges, Ala., a daughter of the late George Witherspoon and Mamie Alieen (Victory) Williford. On July 2, 1951 in Mississippi, she married W.T.

Richard Lee Brown, age 76 of Wauchula, Fla., formerly of Clinton, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2022 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. He was born February 21, 1946 in Tecumseh, a son of the late Clifford and Margaret (Kleinschmidt) Brown.

A celebration of life memorial service for Ruth E. Prettyman will be Saturday, Aug. 27, 2022 at the home of her son, Lee Prettyman, 8714 Dalton Ct., Onsted, Mich. Visitation will take place at 10 a.m. with the services at 11 a.m.

It is with sorrow that the family of R. Dean Kirkland, DVM share the sad news of his passing on August 4, 2022, at Swedish Hospital in Seattle, Wash. His two sons were at his side. He was born October 26, 1946 in Tecumseh, son of the late Eddie and June (Maynard) Kirkland.

Randall Paul Barbre, age 74 of Tecumseh, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Mich. with his family at his side. He was born October 3, 1947 in Detroit, a son of the late Albert Melvin and Doris Pauline (Schmidt) Barbre.

Jean Ellen Smith, age 102, passed away peacefully July 29, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 12, 1920, the daughter of Howard and Margaret (Ingersoll) Brooks.
