Leon Arthur Lewis, age 96, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at the Adrian ProMedica Hickman Hospital with his family by his side.He was born February 18, 1928, in Tecumseh, Mich. to Arthur and Tressie (Pooley) Lewis.

Larry D. Bush, age 74, of Britton, Mich., passed away October 5, 2024.
He was born August 28, 1950, in Tecumseh, Mich., the son of Lee Robert and Myra Jean (Osterhout) Bush. On October 23, 1970, he married Mary Ann Hyland in Britton, Mich. and she survives.

Dorothy May Rogers, age 97, passed away September 25, 2024 at Evangelical Home in Saline, Mich. She was born in Manchester, Mich., the daughter of Glen and Bertha (Uhr) Adams.

Dale Eugene Forsyth passed away peacefully on September 17, 2024, surrounded by loved ones in his South Carolina home. Dale, formerly of Tecumseh, was born on November 24, 1954, to James and Joyce Forsyth. He was preceded in death by his father and his sister, Diane Forsyth.

Constance Mae Gonser, age 92, passed away at Cambrian Assisted Living in Tecumseh, Mich. on September 20, 2024. She was born May 26, 1932, in Saline, Mich., to the late Alwin and Genevieve Gross. She was married to Harrison McCrea ‘Mac” Gonser, and he preceded her in death.

After a long illness, Jack Bartlett, 79, passed away Friday, Sept. 20, peacefully at home with his wife, Meredith, and dog, Louie, by his side. Jack was born in Olivet, Mich. in 1945. In 1965, Jack came to study at the University of Michigan and after graduation stayed in the area.

Shirley Luann Van Benschoten of Tecumseh passed away on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2024 at the Hospice of Lenawee Home in Adrian, Mich. She was born March 25, 1953, in Lenawee County, Mich., the daughter of the late Edward and Thelma (Ashenfelter) Martin.

Thomas Walter Woodward, of Jasper, age 74, passed away unexpectedly on September 13, 2024, while surrounded by his family at the ProMedica Toledo Hospital. Tom was born on November 6, 1949, in Adrian, the third oldest of Clinton and Helen (Sallows) Woodward’s five children.

Steven “Steve” Sailus, of Tecumseh, Mich., passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning at the age of 65, presumably unaware that his beloved Wolverines were going to pull off a shock upset against USC later that afternoon.

Margaret (Mugs) Touborg Klapperich, 89, a resident of Naples, Fla. and formerly of Winnetka, Ill. died peacefully on September 4, 2024. She was raised in Tecumseh, Mich. and attended Albion College where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.
