Dr. Raymond LaBounty Puffer, Ph.D., died of natural causes at his home in Victorville, Calif., on March 6, 2025. Born in Tecumseh, Mich., to C. Raymond and Ruth LaBounty Puffer, Ray fondly recalled his childhood along the River Raisin.

Pamela Dafoe, age 69, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, after a month-long battle with a rare heart condition. Her two best friends in the world, Sue and Gordon, were by her side at Michigan Medicine Hospital in Ann Arbor.

Lois Fern Kahle was born on October 10, 1932, in Madison Twp., Mich., to Claude and Thelma LaMay. On June 15, 1952, she married Richard “Dick” Kahle of Tipton at Tipton Community Church, and together they made Tecumseh their lifelong home.

Fredrick (Fred) Alan Prezioso, age 84, passed away on April 9, 2025 at the Hospice of Lenawee, with his devoted wife, Nanci (Pelham) Prezioso, by his side. Fred and Nanci were married on May 26, 1984, and shared over 40 years of love, laughter, and partnership.

Sue Ellen Osburn, born August 31, 1953, in Tecumseh, Mich., passed away peacefully on April 1, 2025. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend with quiet determination and a deep appreciation for the things that brought her peace: nature, solitude, and her family.

Mildred “Cris” Gentz, age 96, of Tecumseh, died Friday morning, April 4, 2025, at Cambrian Senior Living in Tecumseh. She was born January 30, 1929, in Franklin Township to Melbourne “Buddy” and Ruth (Betz) Smith.
