The curtain is coming down on the 2018-2019 season for the Tecumseh Center for the Arts (TCA) and this year’s performance has been a great one for the city-run theater, which hosted 92 events — up from 75 in 2017-2018.

Clinton police officer arrested on charges of sexual assault

A part-time police officer for the Village of Clinton was terminated after charges were filed against him for multiple counts of sexual assault involving a minor. Michael Couture, 47, of Manchester, has worked part-time for the Clinton Police Department since 1996.

Members of the Tecumseh School Board had a good idea what concerns Tecumseh Public School families had before the election in November 2018. To make sure and to fulfill a campaign promise, the decision was made by the board to have a survey done.

Neighbor charged in early morning apartment fire

A fire Friday, July 5 at a house at 416 N. Evans St. that held four apartments was determined arson, according to a press release from the Tecumseh Police Department. At approximately 4:45 a.m.
