The turnout was low and many candidates ran un-opposed, but the August 2, 2016 primary election is in the books, setting the ballots for the general election on Tuesday, Nov. 8. County-wide, only 15.85 percent of registered voters cast a ballot.

The housing market in Tecumseh is booming right now thanks, in part, to an incentive program offered by the City of Tecumseh in 2013. Overall, there have been $5 million in investments in Tecumseh in 2016 with 215 residential permits pulled.
