A new women’s clothing and accessory store arrived in downtown Tecumseh at the end of May, when The Eve and Annie Boutique opened its doors in the space previously occupied by Radio Shack at 102 W. Chicago Blvd., Suite 102.

Annual summer event to include lots of sand

Tecumseh’s annual Sidewalk Sales and Summer Beach Party weekend July 19-20 will feature a whole lot of sand with a theme of “Sand in Tecumseh,” which will include a sand sculpting event by sculptors who also create the city’s ice sculptures during the winter Ice Sculpture Festival.

Tecumseh and one other city vie for new international automotive supplier plant

Hopes are running high at Tecumseh City Hall that a large international manufacturer may make Tecumseh home for its second plant in Michigan.  An inquiry last fall into the city’s Business & Technology Campus followed a lead from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation.
