TECUMSEH — Tecumseh’s varsity volleyball team picked up a pair of non-conference wins at home on Thursday, Sept. 15 in a tri-meet against Dexter and Jonesville.

BRITTON — Britton Deerfield’s  (BD) varsity volleyball team traveled to Morenci on Thursday, Sept. 15 and won after four sets of action (17-25, 26-24, 25-22, 25-21).  
 

Clinton's varsity volleyball team begins TCC play with two wins

CLINTON — On Thursday, Sept. 8, Clinton’s varsity volleyball team began Tri-County Conference play against Summerfield in a double header, best 3-of-5 matches. 
 
The Redskins won the first match in four sets (25-22, 25-13, 23-25, 25-12). 
 

Tecumseh second at Lumen Christi volleyball tourney

TECUMSEH — Tecumseh’s varsity volleyball team placed second in the Jackson Lumen Christi Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 10.
 
In pool play, the Indians defeated Adrian  (27-25, 21-25, 25-21) and Springport (25-21, 25-6, 25-6).
 

Britton Deerfield varsity volleyball team beats visiting Sand Creek

BRITTON — Britton Deerfield’s varsity volleyball team hosted Sand Creek on Thursday, Sept. 8 and defeated the Aggies in four sets.
 
After losing the first set 25-19, the Patriots came back and took three straight victories of 25-16, 25-16 and 25-19.

Tribe second at SMISL relays

TECUMSEH — A second place finish was recorded by Tecumseh’s varsity girls swim and dive team as hosts of the Southern Michigan Independent Swim League relays on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 9-10.
 

Tecumseh's varsity boys soccer team beats Adrian 5-1, shuts out Lincoln

TECUMSEH — Two more victories were recorded by Tecumseh’s varsity boys soccer team last week with the Indians beating Adrian 5-1 on Tuesday, Sept. 6, and shutting out Lincoln 5-0 two days later. 
 
The Indians improved to 10-1-1 with the victories.

Dolson’s first loss is to Fighting Irish

There was plenty of action at Tecumseh’s first home varsity football game of the season with the Indians going up against a tough Pontiac Notre Dame Preparatory squad that stormed to a 42-21 victory.
 

Clinton roughs up Royals

CLINTON — The Clinton Redskins’ varsity football team traveled to Blissfield and beat the Royals 27-8 in week two of the 2016 football season.
