Community Learning Connections’ (CLC) annual May Mingle fundraiser will be held Saturday, May 13 at Tecumseh Golf Club, 5200 Milwaukee Rd., with the theme “Welcome to the Jungle.” The event will take place from 6-10 p.m. with dinner from 6-7:30 p.m.

Neighbors of Hope will bring back the laughs this spring as they host their 3rd Annual Comedy Night. The live comedy event is planned to feature Taylor Mason, a nationally renowned ventriloquist, musician, and stand-up comedian.

A lemonade stand initiated by five-year-old Lincoln Ing and organized by Lincoln’s mom, Nicole to help pay for a service dog for his friend, Jackson Metevia, raised over $4,000 on Saturday, Jan. 21 during Tecumseh’s Ice Sculpture Festival.

The definition of friendship will be illustrated during Tecumseh’s Ice Sculpture Festival Saturday, when five-year-old Lincoln Ing will operate a lemonade stand inside Paper Street Soap to raise money to enable his best friend, Jackson Metevia, to receive a service dog.

This Friday, 18 local “celebrities” will be lined up at Jerry’s Market in Tecumseh from noon to 6 p.m. to greet customers, bag groceries, and help carry out purchases as part of an effort to raise money for Lenawee Cares.
