Every year Tecumseh Service Club brings the community together at Christmas, connecting those who need help with those who can give help. This year 122 families with over 300 children will have a happier holiday thanks to businesses and community members providing food and presents.

The City of Tecumseh effectively collected 10 pallets of water to help combat the Flint water crisis. Among these pallets were 800 gallon containers and 6,336 bottles of water.

At the February 1 Tecumseh City Council meeting, a total of $18,349 was received for the Tecumseh Center for the Arts (TCA) through various gifts from three organizations.

The City of Tecumseh is collecting bottled water donations from January 29 through February 8 to aid Flint residents. Cases of bottled water can be dropped off at the Tecumseh Fire Department at 101 E. Russell Road from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
