TECUMSEH — It is said that journalism is the first draft of history, and from 1934 into the 2000s The Tecumseh Herald has reported on the story of the Tecumseh Products Co.

Tecumseh City Manager Dan Swallow informed city council on Monday that the closing sale of the former Tecumseh Products property is pending legal paperwork. Swallow said covenants and restrictions are being worked out after the Department of Environmental Quality raised additional requirements.
