Council okays bond sale for street projects

Tecumseh city voters gave the green light to a renewal of the five-year street bond issue in November and on Tuesday night, the city council moved ahead with the next steps in the process--approving the sale of bonds to fund the road improvements.

Popular musical brings back 1920s Chicago to TCA

Audiences will be transported to 1920s Chicago when the curtain goes up on Tecumseh Youth Theatre’s performance of “Chicago: Teen Edition” on February 28 and March 1 and 2 at the Tecumseh Center for the Arts (TCA).

‘Rosie’s’ cafe to open in former JR’s

Plans for a new eatery in downtown Tecumseh officially are in the works.

Bill Leisenring, owner of Tecumseh Tavern and the Tecumseh Commons commercial center, purchased the former JR’s restaurant in December.

Township arrests man on sexual conduct charges

Aaron Michael Mykeloff, 50, of Raisin Township was arrested Monday, Feb. 3 on multiple counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct, charges that resulted from an investigation by the Raisin Township Police where he is alleged to have had a sexual relationship with a minor.
