Tecumseh Community Memorial Pool at Tecumseh Middle School will be temporarily closed through the summer due to equipment failure, according to a report by Superintendent Matt Hilton at the Tecumseh Public Schools board meeting on April 14.

Tecumseh City Council has until May 12 to adopt its annual budget and so far, council members are on track to meet their deadline. The full document is available at City Hall for public review ahead of the May 5 public hearing and subsequent adoption. The public hearing will start at 7:30 p.m.

The city’s Capital Improvements Program (CIP) funding will be part of the upcoming 2025-2026 annual budget, a draft of which city council will get its first look at April 21. The adoption of the annual FY 2-25-2026 budget will be on the council’s May 5 agenda.
