Gary Naugle has been organizing Memorial Day parades in Tecumseh for 24 years, and this year is no exception. The Tecumseh resident is the official parade marshal and dedicates his time each year to making sure that veterans in the area are honored and recognized.

Next week’s General Election on Tuesday, Nov. 2 will determine who will be seated on Tecumseh City Council for two-year terms, which begin at the regularly scheduled council meeting on November 15.

Gary Naugle has been on Tecumseh City Council for at least 14 years, maybe more. He doesn’t exactly remember when he first threw his hat in the ring, but he knows he wanted to be involved in changes to improve the city and the community for its residents and business owners.

The Tecumseh Area Chamber of Commerce has named Gary and Garna Naugle as the 2019 Musgrove Evans Award recipients. The award was named after the founding father of Tecumseh, with award presentations dating back to 1989.
