Each year the Tecumseh Area Chamber of Commerce chooses one person from nominations for the Musgrove Evans Award, an honor named after Tecumseh’s founder that recognizes someone who has exemplified love for and service to Tecumseh. This year Tecumseh Mayor Jack Baker is that person.

An interim city attorney was appointed at Monday’s Tecumseh City Council meeting where it was announced that Scott Baker had resigned from the position citing personal reasons.
Baker has served as city attorney since 2010 following Laura Schaedler.
