Clinton well-represented at Ford Field

Unbeknownst to most high school wrestling fans, it was a tough wrestling season for Clinton High School athlete Logan Badge.

He re-injured his elbow, was out of action for nearly one-quarter of the season, and was sick.

Tecumseh-Manchester gymnastics places 9th at regionals

On Saturday, March 7 the Tecumseh-Manchester and Ann Arbor gymnastics teams traveled to Canton for the MHSAA Regionals.  Tecumseh took ninth with a team score of 121.325.

Redskins defeat Hudson for D-4 STATE title

The Clinton varsity wrestling team spent most of the season as the No. 1 ranked team in Division 4.

Imagine their surprise when the Redskins were seeded No. 3 for the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) Division 4 team championships.

Only rhyme, not reason could explain how a second-year wrestler could defeat a regional champion in the biggest wrestling match of his life.

With the MHSAA Division 4 state team title on the line, Clinton wrestler Jack Voll faced Kyle Moll of Hudson in the 215-pound weight class.

THS girls bowling team Region 12 champions

Tecumseh High School (THS) sent their boys and girls varsity bowling teams to Town and Country Bowl in an MHSAA regional tournament. This regional was one of six Division 2 regional tournaments held on February 28 and 29.

THS girl bowlers move to 8-1 on season

On Monday, Feb. 3, the Tecumseh High School (THS) bowling teams traveled to Whitmore Lanes to bowl the Pirates of Pinckney. The Tribe came away with victories for each team. The THS varsity girls moved their season record to 8-1 with a 21-9 win. THS junior Liza Verrier pitched a strong 227 game.

Clinton wrestlers travel to Grand Rapids for round robin tournament

The tournament at Grand Rapids Forest Hills on January 18 was a round robin format and the Clinton Redskins went 3-1 for the day. The wrestling started with a win over Allendale 47-23. The second round was against host Forest Hills Eastern and the Redskins prevailed 56-15.

Indian wrestlers host first SEC Conference Quad meet

On Wednesday, Jan. 8 Tecumseh wrestled the first time at home this season in an SEC Conference Quad Meet and lost to Chelsea 37-33 in a very close match. The team competed well, but had an unfortunate situation that cost them the dual. Aidan Mckelvy was up 6-2 in his match in the second period.
