For six months, students in Clinton Community Schools have been waiting for the fruits of a $1.6 million technology grant, and on Thursday, Dec. 10 the high school students finally connected with their Chromebooks.

Gretchen Driskell, State Representative in the 52nd District of Michigan, made a stop at The Daily Grind for a coffee hour on Friday, Dec. 4. A Democratic candidate, Driskell is running for Congress in 2016 against incumbent Tim Walberg to represent Michigan’s 7th Congressional District.

ANN ARBOR — The family of Dakota Gonzales and Erin Lara filed lawsuits in Washtenaw County Trial Court on November 18 against Travis Cunningham, 20, and his parents for the 2014 accident that killed Gonzales, 18, and Curt Orlowski, 18, and injured Lara, according to MLive.
